LELY OPEN DAY AT P&B SELBY

P&B recently held a specialist event for Lely Welger machinery at their Selby branch near the Cattle Market.

Stuart Davidson, Area Sales Manager of Lely Welger, said, "It was a very successful day and proved to be a very worthwhile idea having a solus open day and we would like to expand on this at other branches and companies." 

Marcus Bourne, P&B Selby Branch Manager added, "We sold    6 or 7 machines as a direct result of the show. We had invited interested parties to the event, plus we had posters at the cattle market, and we were very pleased with the response, with 100-150 in total at a steady stream all day.                                                                

P&B  Salesmen from other branches brought customers along as well and generated a lot of interest. One farmer who we had not met before came in interested in a baler, was shown around, discussed prices and put in an order on the Saturday. A great way to gain a new customer."

Stuart concluded, "P&B are a proactive company and being relatively new to this area, events like this help to promote themselves and get the names of Lely Welger and P&B linked and firmly established. It was ideal to hold the event on Market Day and with so many existing and new customers coming in, it gives the whole team at Selby a boost. From Lely’s point of view we were more than happy with the day."
